As a cardiology NP, I worked frequently with this one patient who had so many other concerns that we never really got to his cardiac issues. He will tell you I was one of the “best cardiologists “ he ever had despite barely ever adjusting his medications. The intersection of mental health care and medical care has become so blurred. And I suppose that is a good thing. Now, how do we get the payors to recognize.
